Good evening ladies,
Karen's memorial service is Thursday evening with the visitation from 5pm-6pm in Tomlin Hall and the service in the sanctuary from 6pm-7pm. Candy has said that there will be a time for friends and family to speak and/or share stories if they would like, so if God puts it on your heart please feel free to share.
This has been a really tough week for me. Two dear friends lost their fathers unexpectedly this week, and of course Karen's passing. Combine that with your traditional chaos, stolen credit card number, etc and it can make one very weary.... But wow... what a verse. Wow, what a God. I've been weaker than ever this week, but God is just as strong as He ever was, and HIS power is seen more clearly in MY weakness. Amazing.
This week's verse:
2 Corinthians 12:9,10But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
